At Deaf Reach, we don’t just talk about potential — we see it in action everyday! This Deaf Awareness Month (September) we are proud to celebrate our high achievers. From breaking records in the secondary board examinations to sweeping the podium at the University of Karachi (KU), our learners continue to prove that talent, when given the right support, knows no bounds.

Wajiullah Khan, a Deaf student from our Rashidabad Campus, clinched first position in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) 2026 examinations conducted by BISE Hyderabad. Wajiullah outperformed 1,540 students from mainstream schools!

Wajhiullah’s achievement is made even more remarkable by the success of his peers. All 30 Deaf Reach students who appeared for the examinations achieved A grades, an exceptional collective accomplishment that reflects what can be achieved when talent and determination are supported by quality education.

Recognizing Wajiullah’s feat, the Hyderabad Commissioner invited him, his parents and Rashidabad Deaf Reach School Principal, to attend an Appreciation Certificate Ceremony along with the region’s other two position holders. He was presented with a PKR 25,000 cash reward, two Certificates of Appreciation, and a Gold Medal!

Moreover, three students from Deaf Reach’s Karachi Campus secured top positions in the Associate Degree in Arts program for Deaf Scholars, conducted in affiliation with the University of Karachi (KU).

Ayesha Gulzar bagged 1st Position with a GPA of 3.77, followed by her peers, Muhammad Umer and Bisma Naz, at joint 2nd Position with GPAs of 3.70 each.

All three are now serving as teachers within the Deaf Reach network, inspiring the next generation of leaders.
